The CCAA proudly placed nine student-athletes on the men's soccer All-America teams for the 2025 season.
Stanislaus State paced the way with five All-America selections.
Samuel Villanueva (D) was voted first-team All-American by the D2CCA and second team by the United Soccer Coaches. Goalkeeper
Angel Ruiz-Hernandez joined Villanueva as a United Soccer Coaches second-team All-American, and he also earned D2 CCA third-team honors. The Warriors added a pair of United Soccer Coaches first-team All-Americans selections with forward
Gerardo Flores and defender
Ian Reis.
Emmanuel Duran collected United Soccer Coaches third-team All-American honors as a forward.
Four more CCAA universities were represented on the All-American lists. Cal State Dominguez Hills'
Ndifor Ginyui earned second-team recognition by both the D2 CCA and the United Soccer Coaches. He was joined on the United Soccer Coaches second team by Cal State LA's
Alex Mendez, and on the D2 CCA second team by Cal State San Marcos'

Samuel Villanueva was named the MVP of the CCAA Tournament after helping Stanislaus State win its first tournament title since 2012. He ranked third in NCAA Div. II with 0.68 assists per match and second with 13 total assists.
Angel Ruiz-Hernandez was the CCAA Goalkeeper of the Year. He finished the season ranked sixth in NCAA Div. II with 0.552 goals against average and third with an .866 save percentage. He was also fourth in shutouts (11) and 15th in minutes played (1793:56).
Ndifor Ginyui was the CCAA Defensive Player of the Year and the CCAA Player of the Year. He helped lead Cal State Dominguez to an undefeated conference record (8-0-2) and its second consecutive regular season championship. With Ginyui as the center back, the Toros ranked 17th in the country in goals against average (.845) and ninth in shutout percentage (.500).
Gerardo Flores registered nine goals and six assists to earn CCAA Forward of the Year and collected first-team All-American honors. He ranked seventh in Div. II with five game-winning goals and 49th with 24 total points.
Ian Reis was a key in Stan State having one of the best defenses in the country. He helped the Warriors register the fourth-best shutout percentage (.600) and goals against average (.550). Reis was also critical of in Stan State registering a plus-33 goal differential (seventh NCAA).
Cal State East Bay's
Alejandro Zarate earned CCAA Midfielder of the Year honors after scoring nine goals and posting nine assists. His 0.53 goals per match and 1.59 points per match paced the CCAA. He was ranked 18th nationally in points per game and was 14th in assists (9).
Emmanuel Duran from Stanislaus State tied for the league lead with 10 goals and placed fifth with 23 points. He earned third-team All-American honors and scored the game-winning goal in Stan State's NCAA Super Regional win.
Cal State San Marcos'
Efren Nunez Dominguez tied Duran for the conference lead with 10 goals and was fifth with six assists. The midfielder was second in the conference and 49th in the country with 1.3 points per game and was 52nd with 0.5 goals per game.
Alex Mendez's five goals tied for the team lead on Cal State LA and helped the Golden Eagles earn a trip to the NCAA Super Regional for the eighth consecutive season. Two of his goals went for game-winners.
The United Soccer Coaches All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, in Philadelphia, Pa., in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
