EMPORIA, Kan. - Ryan Fields' time of 51.48 in the preliminary round of the 400 meter hurdles earned him a spot in the finals during the 2024 NCAA Men's Track & Field Championship and highlighted the CCAA's performances on Thursday.
 
The senior from Cal Poly Pomona placed fourth overall in the prelims to advance to the finals for the fourth time in his career. Last season, he finished sixth.
