Chico State's decathlete Jordan Ausbie named CCAA Field Athlete of the Week Apr 9, 2024 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> After his standout performance at the Stanislaus State Multis, Chico State’s Jordan Ausbie has been awarded the CCAA Field Athlete of the Week honors for the week of April 1-7. Ausbie put together career-best performances in four events on his way to earning an NCAA Provisional Qualifying Standard with 6,594 points in the decathlon. He now leads the CCAA and ranks 11th in NCAA Division II. The junior from Cupertino won the high jump competition with a career-best height of 6-2 (1.88m). He would add PRs in the 400m (51.38), discus (116-2/35.42m) and pole vault (13-7.25/4.15m).
