Cal State San Marcos’ Rachelle Zilavec is the season’s final CCAA Field Athlete of the Week after setting a school record.

Zilavec recorded the program record in the javelin throw with a distance of 41.30 meters (135 feet, 6 inches) at the Steve Scott Invitational at UC Irvine, where she placed second in the event as the top Division II entrant. She broke Kelly Skvarna’s 2014 record of 40.15 meters.
