The NCAA announced the field for all eight men's golf regionals today and the CCAA took seven of the 10 spots from the West.
Cal State Monterey Bay remained in the top spot after topping the last poll and then winning the CCAA Men's Golf Championship presented by Under Armour.
The six other teams also maintained their spots from the previous regional release.
Chico State will be the No. 2 seed from the West in the West/South Central Regional.
Cal State East Bay sits at No. 3 and
Cal State San Bernardino is at No. 4. The fifth seed went to
Cal State San Marcos and
Stanislaus State earned the No. 6 seed. Defending regional champions
Sonoma State came in at No. 7 to complete the list for the CCAA.
Simon Fraser (GNAC) earned the remaining at-large bid. The last two spots went to the conference champions from the PacWest (Hawaii Hilo) and GNAC (Western Washington).
