This season, Cal State San Bernardino’s Bri Goris has been selected as the CCAA Softball Player of the Week for the second time. (Apr. 15-21)

Goris led the Coyotes to three wins as they moved closer to clinching a CCAA Tournament berth for the second consecutive season. The junior infielder hit .545 with four home runs, 12 RBI, and five walks in 11 at-bats. She finished her five-game week with a .647 on-base percentage and a 1.727 slugging percentage.

After opening the series against Cal State Monterey Bay with a double, Goris caught fire over the next three games, putting together one of the best stretches seen in the CCAA this season. In Friday’s second game, she went 3-for-3 with two home runs, five RBI, and three runs scored.

On Saturday, she did not get many swings, but she took advantage of them. In the first game, she plated an RBI with a sac fly in the first inning before adding a two-run homer in the third and another RBI with a bases-loaded walk in the fourth. In the series finale, she hit a three-run home run, walked twice, and scored two runs.

The Chino native now leads the CCAA in RBI (44) and ranks second in home runs (11). She is hitting .357 and has a .683 slugging percentage. Click here to see the CCAA player leaderboard
