Pole vault wins earn Stan State’s Alfred Nunes CCAA Field Athlete of the Week Apr 16, 2024 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Stanislaus State’s Alfred Nunes has been voted the CCAA Field Athlete of the Week for the week of April 8-14. Nunes won a pair of pole vault competitions to highlight a busy week. He began by clearing 15-4.25 (4.68m) at the Cal State LA Twilight Meet on Thursday. The next day, he won the Cerritos Invitational event after posting a height of 15-0.75 (4.59m). The junior from Turlock added a career-best mark in the discus with a throw of 137-9 (42.00m). Nunes also sits fifth on the CCAA Performance List with 5,964 in the decathlon.
