Roy allowed only one run over two outings (11 innings) to lead her Gators to two victories on the road at Cal State East Bay. The right-hander from Campbell, Calif., posted a 0.64 ERA with six hits allowed. She struck out five and collected the third shutout of her freshman campaign. As a staff, SF State (18-21, 14-14 CCAA) allowed just three runs in the four games to win the series 3-1 and move into a tie with CSUEB for fifth in the standings. After her team dropped the opener in extra innings, Roy took the ball and pitched a complete game, winning 2-0. She gave up three hits, walked five, and struck out two. She then started the series finale on Friday, pitching four innings with just one earned run to earn her 11th win of the season. Roy is sixth in the conference with a 2.32 ERA and eighth with a 1.26 WHIP. Her three shutouts have her tied for second, and she is fourth with 5.73 hits allowed per seven innings. The top six teams in the final standings will earn a berth in the CCAA Tournament, May 1-4 in San Marcos, Calif.
