Stan State’s Mikaela Ferreira Repeats as CCAA Softball Player of the Week Apr 1, 2024 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Stanislaus State’s Mikaela Ferreira has been voted the CCAA Softball Player of the Week for the week of March 25-31. It marks the second consecutive week she has earned the honors. Ferreira, a senior from Ripon, Calif., hit .600 on the week in a series split with San Francisco State. Her best game came in the third contest of the weekend, going 3-for-3 with two runs scored, an RBI and a double. On the week, she was 6-for-10 with four RBIs, three doubles and a home run. On the season, she leads the CCAA in batting average at .472 and in on-base percentage at .560. Click here to see the CCAA player leaderboard. This is Ferreira’s second career CCAA Softball Player of the Week award and her second of the season. Teammate Sasha Martello earned Pitcher of the Week honors earlier this year.
