Stanislaus State’s Mikaela Ferreira has been voted the CCAA Softball Player of the Week for the week of March 18-25.

Ferreira, a senior from Ripon, Calif., was nearly perfect at the plate, going 12-for-15 for a .800 average and 1.000 slugging percentage as the Warriors hosted the Tournament of Champions in Turlock. She opened the week with a 2-for-3 performance with two runs scored in a 6-3 win over Azusa Pacific. After a 2-for-4 game in a 7-5 win over Central Washington, she would record a hit in every at-bat the rest of the weekend, going 4-for-4 twice in games against Hawaii Hilo and Dominican. In addition to the 12 hits, she recorded a pair of RBIs and five runs scored.

On the season, she leads the CCAA in batting average at .456 and in on-base percentage at .532.  Click here to see the CCAA player leaderboard
