CSUSB’s Hailey Hunt uses school record to win CCAA Women’s Track Athlete of the Week Mar 19, 2024 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Cal State San Bernardino’s Hailey Hunt has been voted the CCAA Women’s Track Athlete of the Week (Mar. 11-17). The junior from Winnetka, Calif. Notched her third provisional mark of the season with a school-record time of 11.66 seconds in the 100m Dash at the Hornet Invitational in Sacramento. She also finished second out of a field of 137 runners in the 200m Dash with a time of 23.81 seconds. Both of her best times at the Hornet Invitational are tops in the CCAA this season. Her 100m time ranks third in NCAA Division II while her 200m time leads the nation. This marks Hunt’s first career CCAA Track Athlete of the Week award. She is the third Coyote to earn honors this season, following teammates Alexis White (Feb. 12-18) and Alexandra Ackerman (Feb. 19-25).
