Sonoma State’s Bailee Reed has been named the CCAA Pitcher of the Week for March 11-17.

The senior right-hander from Antioch went 2-0 and added a save in a sweep of Cal State Monterey Bay. She went the distance in both of her starts, including an extra-inning win in the opener on Friday. She came back in Friday’s nightcap to earn the save with 1.1 no-hit innings and then returned to the circle on Saturday, not allowing a run over seven scoreless innings to earn her second win of the weekend.

This is Reed’s first CCAA Pitcher of the Week Award and first for Sonoma State this season. Click here to see the complete list of CCAA Softball weekly award winners.  

Reed and the rest of the Seawolves will be back in action on Tuesday afternoon for a non-conference doubleheader against Dominican in San Rafael. Sonoma State will then head to Turlock for the annual Tournament of Champions where they will face five other teams in West Region action.<
