CSUEB’s Annelise Garcia hits walk-off home run on way to CCAA Softball Player of the Week Mar 18, 2024 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Cal State East Bay’s Annelise Garcia has been voted the CCAA Softball Player of the Week for the week of March 11-17. Garcia, a junior from Sacramento, hit a walk-off home run in the series finale against Cal State Dominguez Hills to clinch the series for the Pioneers. On the weekend, she hit .571 in 14 at-bats with six RBIs and four extra-base hits. She currently holds a 14-game hitting streak. On the season, she leads the CCAA in slugging percentage at .906 and is second in the league in batting average, hitting .438. Click here to see the CCAA player leaderboard. Garcia earns her second career CCAA Softball Play of the Week award and her first this season. She previously received honors in the fourth week of the 2022 season..
