National leader Isabelle Carreon wins second straight Women’s Field Athlete of the Week award Mar 12, 2024 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Cal Poly Pomona’s Isabelle Carreon has been named the CCAA Women’s Field Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week (Mar. 4-10). Carreon broke the Cal Poly Pomona school record in pole vault, also setting a new personal best at 12-6.75 (3.83 meters). She is the NCAA and CCAA leader in the event and was the Ben Brown Invite Champion. The mark won the Ben Brown Invitational and an NCAA Provisional Qualifying Standard. The Discovery Bay, Calif., native is the first student-athlete to earn CCAA Field Athlete of the Week awards in back-to-back weeks since 2022 (Imani Williams, CPP).See a complete list of weekly winners. The Cal Poly Pomona Broncos will compete at the Riverside City College Open this Friday. Next week, they will attend the Aztec Invitational and the Mangrum Invitational in San Diego County.
