CSUSB’s Alexandra Ackerman part of three wins at Rossi Relays to earn Women’s Track Athlete of the Week award

Cal State San Bernardino’s Alexandra Ackerman was named CCAA Women’s Track Athlete of the Week after winning three events at the Rossi Relays.

Ackerman placed first in the 100-meter dash in a time of 12.03 seconds, which is the third fastest time in CSUSB history. The graduate student from Lake Elsinore was a leg of the winning 4x100-meter relay team which posted a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 46.51 seconds. Then the sprinter ran a leg of the spring relays (800 meters) to a school record time of 1:45.98 seconds.

Ackerman is the second consecutive Coyotes to be named Womens’ Track Athlete of the Week. Teammate Alexis White won this honor last week. See a complete list of weekly winners.
