Stan State’s Ero Doce earns first CCAA Track Athlete of the Week award of 2024 Feb 20, 2024 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Stanislaus State’s Ero Doce has been named CCAA Track Athlete of the Week for the first week of the 2024 season (Feb. 12-18). Running in his first meet as a Warrior, the senior transfer won the 800m, 1500m, and 3000-meter run at the Sunbird Invitational. Doce became the first CCAA student-athlete to capture an NCAA provisional qualifying mark in 2024 as he posted a time of 3:47.94 in the 1500m. He won the 800m with a time of 1:51.80 and 3K with a time of 8:22.11. The Naron, Spain native is now third in Stan State history in the 1500m and seventh in the 800m. Stanislaus State’s next meet will be the Kim Duyst Invitational on Mar. 1-2.
