San Francisco State’s Macaria Moore-Bastide has captured her second CCAA Women’s Field Athlete of the Week award, this time for the week of April 10-16.
Moore-Bastide cleared a season-high 1.17 meters (5 feet, 7 ½ inches) at the Pacific Coast Invitational at Long Beach, improving her NCAA provisional qualifying mark. She now ranks fifth in Division II in the event.
The freshman from San Diego also competed at the Bryan Clay Invitational, where she won the high jump with a mark of 1.67m. She had won the weekly award on March 20.
San Francisco State will compete at the Mustang Invitational at Cal Poly this weekend.
