Lauderdale captures Stan State’s first Track Athlete of the Week honors since 2018 Feb 21, 2023 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Stanislaus State's Trent Lauderdale came out of the gates fast in 2023 to pick up the CCAA's first Men's Track Athlete of the Week honor of the season. Lauderdale won the 400m hurdles at the Sunbird Invitational with a time of 53.45. That mark was a career-best, and it moved him to the top of the NCAA Division II Performance List after the first weekend of competition in the young season. He leads the country by almost four seconds. The sophomore's time moved him to ninth on Stanislaus State's all-time list. Lauderdale is the first Warrior to win CCAA Track Athlete of the Week honors since Michael Mrgudic in 2018. The Warriors will return to competition on March 3-4 when they host the Kim Duyst Invitational.
