Fields clocks second consecutive Track Athlete of the Week award Mar 8, 2022 Share: Complete list of past winners >>> For the second consecutive week, Cal Poly Pomona’s Ryan Fields has been selected as the CCAA Men's Track Athlete of the Week. (Feb. 28-March 6) Fields moved to the top of the 2022 NCAA Division II performance list with a time of 52.92 in the 400-meter hurdles. The sophomore from Los Angeles won the event against Division I competition at the Beach Opener and earned an NCAA Provisional Qualifying Mark. In addition, Fields won the 110m hurdles, finishing with a provisional qualifying time of 14.29. He leads Division II in both hurdle events. He also contributed to the team in the 4x400m relay, helping the Broncos place third. This is the fifth career CCAA Track Athlete of the Week award for Fields. This week, Cal Poly Pomona will be in Fullerton and Los Angeles to compete in the Ben Brown Invitational and the Oxy Distance Carnival.
