Stanislaus State's Jason Lindsay wins CCAA Field Athlete of the Week Mar 22, 2022 Share: Complete list of past winners >>> Stanislaus State Jason Lindsay has been voted as the CCAA Field Athlete of the Week for the week of March 14-20. Lindsay competed in three throwing events at the Wildcat Invitational. He won the hammer throw with a mark of 161-3 (49.16m), 17 feet farther than second place. Lindsay remains on top of the CCAA Performance List in the hammer. The sophomore from Clovis (Clovis HS/Fresno CC)JA tripled up in the throwing events at the Wildcat Invitational, finishing fifth in both the discus and shot put. This was the second CCAA Field Athlete of the Week award for Stanislaus State in 2022. Lindsay joins pole vaulter Andy Huynh who won the award the first week of the season. (Feb. 22) Stanislaus State is on a competition hiatus this weekend. They will resume play on March 31.
