Stellar starts earn Rodriguez Pitcher of the Week honors Mar 14, 2022 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Sonoma State’s Camille Rodriguez's dominant performances on the mound earned her CCAA Pitcher of the Week honors for the week of March 7-13. The senior went 2-0 while pitching 12.2 innings over two starts against No. 22 ranked Cal State Monterey Bay. She allowed seven hits and two runs for a 1.10 earned run average. She gave up seven hits and five walks as opponents managed just a .163 batting average against the righty. Rodriguez was just an out short of a complete game in the series opener. She went 6.2 innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out two and walking four. On Saturday, she threw a complete game, giving up just one run. She is now sixth in the CCAA in wins (7), innings pitched (65.0), and ninth in earned run average (2.05). Sonoma State (14-13, 6-10 CCAA) will travel to Cal Poly Humboldt for a four-game set starting on Friday, March 18.
