Big leap in triple jump earns Muanza CCAA Men's Field Athlete of the Week award Mar 1, 2022 Share: Complete list of past winners >>> Cal State San Marcos’ Isaac Muanza claimed the CCAA Men’s Field Athlete of the Week honors for the week of Feb. 21-27. Muanza placed his name in the Cougars’ history books in both the high jump and the triple jump while competing at the Rossi Relays. The freshman from Lawndale won the triple jump with a leap of 47-1 (14.35m). That mark moved him to fourth in program history. He also earned the sixth spot on the high jump list when he cleared 6-6 (1.98m). Cal State San Marcos will be back in action this Friday (March 4) at the RCC Invitational.
