Cal State San Marcos’ Luke Higgins goes the distance in the season finale to earn FloCollege/CCAA Pitcher of the Week May 4, 2026 Share: Cal State San Marcos’ Luke Higgins has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Baseball Pitcher of the Week. (May 4) Higgins ended the 2026 regular season by throwing a complete game in CSUSM's series-clinching win over Cal Poly Pomona. The right-hander from Laguna Beach accomplished the feat on just 98 pitches while striking out four and allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk. Higgins cruised through the first three innings before running into trouble in the fourth. He escaped, allowing just two runs.
