ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - The CCAA will send three men's basketball teams to the 2026 NCAA West Regional. Cal State East Bay (30-0) earned the No. 1 seed and the right to host. Defending regional champions Cal State Dominguez Hills is the No. 5 seed, and Cal Poly Humboldt got in as the No. 8 seed.
Cal State East Bay and Cal Poly Humboldt (17-13) will go head-to-head in the first round. This will be the fourth time they have played this season. CSUEB has won all three games. This is Cal State East Bay's first NCAA appearance, and Cal Poly Humboldt's ninth as a member of the CCAA.
Cal State Dominguez Hills will play Alaska Anchorage from the GNAC in the first round. The teams have not played this season.
The winners of these contests will face off in the regional semifinals.
The regional will begin Friday, Mar. 13, in Hayward, Calif.
