Andrea Stajic led all scorers with a career-high 25 points on 10-17 shooting. She got the Broncos going out of the gate, hitting her first six shots of the game, including three from behind the arc to give CPP a 28-12 lead at the end of the first quarter. A three-pointer by Chico’s Kaylie Edge cut the Wildcats’ deficit to 13 points early in the second quarter, but that is as close as they would get the rest of the game. The Broncos biggest advantage came on the glass, as they outrebounded Chico 56-32, including 25-9 on the offensive glass. Stajic also got help from Sydney Nelson, who scored 14 points, and Brielle Minor added 13. Nine different Broncos scored in the win. Hunter Hudson grabbed eight offensive rebounds to lead the team. Ivy Gonzalez came off the bench to lead Chico State with 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting. Madison Parry chipped in with 11 points.
