The CCAA placed four student-athletes on the 2025-26 D2CCA Men's Basketball All-West Region Team, headlined by the Regional Player of the Year,
Tyree Campbell from Cal State East Bay.
Campbell was joined on the first team by Cal State Dominguez Hills'
Jalen Brown, and on the second team by UC Merced's
Elijah Charles and Cal Poly Humboldt's
Zaveion Bineyard.
Tyree Campbell, a senior guard from Rancho Cucamonga, was the 2025-26 CCAA Player of the Year and earned CCAA Men’s Basketball Championships All-Tournament Team honors. He started all 30 games for the 30-0 Pioneers, averaging 14.2 points and 4.1 rebounds per contest while shooting .521 percent from the field and .456 percent from three-point range. He totaled 425 points, 124 rebounds, 47 steals, and 33 assists on the year.
Jalen Brown ranked fifth in the CCAA with 15.8 points per game. He shot .528 percent from the field (third CCAA) and .430 percent from 3-point range. Brown helped lead Cal State Dominguez Hills to a second-place finish in the CCAA and to a spot in the NCAA West Regional.
Zaveion Bineyard averaged 14.0 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game (seventh CCAA). He shot .567 percent from the field (second in the CCAA) and was also third in the conference in blocks (1.27). The junior forward helped lead Cal Poly Humboldt into the NCAA West Regional for the first time since 2016.
UC Merced's
Elijah Charles thrived in his first season in the CCAA. The senior forward led the CCAA in field goal percentage (.627) and rebounds (9.9), while ranking seventh in scoring (15.9 ppg). He recorded a CCAA-leading 13 double-doubles and is the first Bobcat to earn men's basketball all-region honors at the Div. II level.
Campbell and Brown were joined on the first team by Saint Martin's Kaden Hansen, Point Loma's Andrew Nagy, and Vanguard's Eric Howlin.
