Chico State’s Keoni Coloma has been voted the FloCollege/CCAA Baseball Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 16-22.

Coloma hit .636 (7-for-11) while helping lead Chico State to a four-game sweep over UC Colorado Springs. The senior outfielder recorded six hits in the series, highlighted by a perfect 4-for-4 performance in Game 2 that included two triples, two RBI and three runs scored. With his two-triple game, Coloma became just the fifth player in program history to record two triples in a single game.

The Pleasant Hills native added another triple in Game 3 and reached base multiple times in the series finale, drawing two intentional walks and a hit-by-pitch before scoring the tying run in the seventh inning. He scored in every game of the series and recorded an RBI and an extra-base hit in three of the four games.
