Cal State San Bernardino’s Rafa Fonseca has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the shortened week of Oct. 26-29.  

Fonseca scored both goals in CSUSB’s season finale win over Cal State East Bay to secure the No. 2 seed in the CCAA Tournament. 

The senior forward put CSUSB on the board first with an unassisted goal in the 13th minute. After CSUEB scored the equalizer on a penalty kick in the 85th minute, Fonseca answered for the Coyotes with the game-winner from 20 yards out. 

Those two goals moved Fonseca into a tie for fifth in the CCAA with nine total goals. He is also sixth in points scored (19). Click here to see the complete CCAA stats leaders.

This is the first career CCAA Men’s Soccer Player of the Week award for Fonseca, and it’s the first for CSUSB in 2026. Click here to see a complete list of past award winners.
