Cal State Dominguez Hills' Steve Becker was named the NABC West Region Coach of the Year and four CCAA student-athletes received All-West Region honors.
 
Steve Becker and the Toros won a trophy at every level en route to reaching the first NCAA Championship game in program history. Dominguez Hills went 20-2 in the CCAA and finished the season at 30-6. The Toros went on to win the CCAA Tournament and the NCAA West Regional before collecting two wins at the Elite Eight in Indiana.
 
Cal State Dominguez Hills Jeremy Dent-Smith earned first team all-region honors.  The junior guard averaged 19.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. His 19.0 ppg ranks him third in the CCAA, and he is second in free throw percentage (.823). The Hawthorne, Calif., native averaged 26.3 ppg at the Elite Eight, including posting a 27-point, 10-rebound double-double in the title game.
 
Chico State's Jojo Murphy received first team all-region honors. He was voted the CCAA Player of the Year after leading the CCAA in scoring with 20.7 points per game and ranking fifth with 4.0 assists per game. He shot .470 percent from the field, .386 percent from 3-point range, and .803 percent at the free throw line to rank in the top 6 in the conference in all three categories. Murphy helped lead Chico State to a 24-7 record and its second consecutive appearance in the NCAA West Regional.
 
Cal State San Bernardino had a pair of all-region selections with Evan Oliver and Andrew Henderson both making the second team.
 
Evan Oliver led the West Region in steals with 2.31 per game and ran point guard for the 23-12 Cal State San Bernardino men's basketball team to collect his first D2 CCA All-West Region selection. The graduate student averaged 15.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game. Oliver had four double-doubles, including two in the CCAA Tournament, as he recorded games with 11 and 12 assists.
 
Andrew Henderson ranked fifth in the CCAA in scoring (17.3 ppg) and eighth in rebounding (6.8). He helped the Coyotes earn top 25 rankings numerous times throughout the season and reach the NCAA West Regional semifinal. He scored over 20 points 12 times, including a 40-point effort against Western Oregon.
