Final CCAA Player of the Week award of 2025 goes to Cal State LA’s Isaiah Marquez

Isaiah Marquez has been voted the FloCollege/CCAA Baseball Player of the Week for the final week of the 2025 season. 

Marquez hit .381 with three home runs and nine runs batted in to lead the Golden Eagles to a 3-1 series win at Cal State Dominguez Hills that clinched a spot in the CCAA Tournament. The senior outfielder hit safely and had an RBI in every game. He posted a .905 slugging percentage as he also added two doubles and three singles. 

He opened the series by going 2-for-6 with two doubles, two RBI, and a run scored in a 16-5 win. Then, in Friday’s first game, Marquez hit two home runs, including the go-ahead solo shot in the ninth inning of a 10-9 win in Friday's opener that officially put the Golden Eagles into the tournament. He finished that game 3-for-6 with two home runs, three RBI, and three runs scored. He would add three more RBI in the nightcap and a home run on Saturday in the season finale. 

Marquez is now sixth in the CCAA in hits (71) and doubles (15). He is seventh in runs scored (48) and fourth in stolen bases (16). Click here to see CCAA baseball stats leaders.
