Chico State’s Marco Ibarra named the FloCollege/CCAA Baseball Pitcher of the Week Apr 14, 2025 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Marco Ibarra from Chico State has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Baseball Pitcher of the Week. (Apr. 14) Playing in front of his hometown crowd at Cal State Dominguez Hills, Marco Ibarra pitched a seven-inning gem in Chico State's series finale win, allowing the Wildcats to split the four-game series with the first-place Toros. Ibarra picked up his fifth win in dominant fashion. He was perfect through five innings before the Toros broke it with a one-out single in the sixth. Throwing 97 pitches, he struck out six batters and limited the Toros to two hits and an intentional walk. The senior right-hander is fifth in the CCAA in wins (5), seventh in earned run average (3.54), and 10th in opponent batting average (.254). Click here to see the CCAA baseball stats leaders.
