Stanislaus State’s Rocco Gurrola named the FloCollege/CCAA Pitcher of the Week Feb 10, 2025 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Rocco Gurrola of Stanislaus State has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of Feb. 3-9. Gurrola struck out seven batters with no walks in seven innings of work during the Warriors' 10-2 win over Saint Martin's. The junior transfer from Santa Ana CC gave up six hits and two runs (one earned). He faced 27 batters, inducing seven outs on the ground, 12 in the air, and seven via the strikeout. He now has struck out 15 batters and walked no one in his first 12 innings as a Warrior. Gurrola is now second in the CCAA in innings pitched and tied for first in strikeouts (15).
