Cal Poly Pomona ranked #10 in Learfield Directors’ Cup standings; three CCAA teams in the top 40

The Cal Poly Pomona Broncos lead the CCAA and rank 10th in the Learfield Directors’ Cup Division II Final Fall Standings with 197.5 points. The CCAA has two more teams ranked in the top 50: Chico State at 35th (130.5 points) and Stanislaus State at 38th (128.5 points).
 
The Broncos' placement among the top 10 was earned by having three of their five fall teams earn points at the NCAA Championships. The Cal Poly Pomona men's cross country team placed 18th (56 points), and the women's team took 16th (58.5). The women's soccer team reached the national semifinals and collected 83 points.
 
Chico State was the next CCAA team ranked in the Learfield Directors’ Cup. The Wildcats also earned points with both cross country teams, as their men took 15th nationally (60) and the women placed eighth (70.5).
 
Stanislaus State had two teams qualify for NCAA postseason play and posted 128.5 points. The women's cross country team placed 12th at nationals, earning 64.5 points, and the men's soccer team reached the national quarterfinals, earning 64 points.
 
Other CCAA teams listed on the fall report include Cal State San Bernardino (69th), Cal State Dominguez Hills (106th), Cal State LA (124th), and Cal Poly Humboldt (124th). Click here to see the complete Learfield Directors’ Cup Fall Standings.
