CCAA collects three All-Americans and places three teams in the top 16 at the NCAA XC Championships

KENOSHA, Wisc. - Chico State's Iresh Molina, Stanislaus State's Annie Wild, and Cal Poly Pomona's Vivian Martinez earned All-American honors on Saturday at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Kenosha, Wisc. It was just the third time since 2009 that the CCAA had placed three on the All-American podium.
 
Chico State had the best finish among the CCAA teams, placing eighth with 306 points. It was the Wildcats' best finish on the national stage since placing seventh in 2019. Stanislaus State entered the meet ranked 22nd but exceeded expectations, earning 412 points to place 12th. That matched the best finish in Stan State history (2021). Cal Poly Pomona finished one off its No. 15 ranking, placing 16th with 463 points. It was the Broncos' best finish since 2017.
 
Iresh Molina became the first female student-athlete in CCAA history to earn All-American honors in three consecutive seasons. The junior posted a time of 20:48.3 on the 6k Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course to finish 21st. It was the best career finish for Molina at the NCAA Championships after she had placed 24th and 31st in her previous two appearances.
 
Annie Wild collected Stanislaus State's first All-American honor since Kaela Dishion in 2022. The junior finished only three spots behind Molina, coming in at No. 24 with a time of 20:52.3.
 
Vivian Martinez placed 30th with a time of 20:55.8 to earn Cal Poly Pomona's first All-American honor since 2012 (Tiffany Dinh). Each of the top 40 runners at nationals receives All-American honors. 

Grand Valley State won the NCAA Women's Cross Country Championship by four points over Colorado School of Mines (65-69). Those were the only two schools to go under 100 points. Tristian Spence from Adams State secured the individual title with a time of 20:11.0.
 
This completes the 2025 cross country season for all NCAA teams.
