Stanislaus State’s Austin Balentine wins final CCAA Pitcher of the Week award of 2024 May 6, 2024 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Stanislaus State’s Austin Balentine has been selected as the CCAA Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 29-May 5. Balentine picked up his third straight victory in the Warriors' series-opening 19-5 victory at Cal State LA on Friday evening. He pitched eight innings, giving up six hits and three runs (one earned) while striking out four. Balentine retired 12 straight batters in the middle innings for the Warriors. In his last three outings, he is 3-0 with 16 strikeouts and five walks while giving up 21 hits and 11 runs (five earned). The sophomore right-hander ranks second in the CCAA with seven wins.
