Cal State Monterey Bay and CSUSB's Chris Wardrup conclude seasons at NCAA Golf Champions

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. - The 2024 season ended today for the Cal State Monterey Bay men's golf team and Cal State San Bernardino's Chris Wardrup with the conclusion of the third round of the 2024 NCAA Division II Championships.
 
The Otters finished 14th but needed to be in the top 8 to advance to medal-match play. CSUMB's best round was on Tuesday when it shot 280 (-4). It followed with a 292 (+8) in the second and a 293 (+3) in the third.
 
Will Musson led the team in scoring with a 1-over 214. He finished tied for 29th. Wilhelm Berg von Linde was one stroke back and tied for 33rd. Tony Tao followed with a 216 (+3) to tie for 37th.
 
Chris Wardrup was the highest-finisher of all CCAA student-athletes at the championships. The sophomore lefty collected 13 birdies in three rounds. He finished 1-over in par 4 scoring and 5-under on par 5's.
