CPP’S Jack Sanders Slugs Way to CCAA Baseball Player of the Week Award Apr 1, 2024 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Cal Poly Pomona’s Jack Sanders used four extra-base hits to earn CCAA Baseball Player of the Week honors for the week on March 25-31. Sanders was 7-for-16 (.438) with a 1.221 OPS in a series win over San Francisco State. He was 3-for-6 in the opener, falling just a home run short of the cycle in an 11-1 win. He also finished the series strong, going 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in an 8-3 win. On the season, Sanders ranks 10th in the CCAA this season in OPS (On Base plus Slugging Pct.) at 1.060.
