FRESNO, Calif. – Chico State won its second consecutive CCAA Women’s Cross Country Championship presented by Pollo Campero and 14th in the last 16 seasons on Friday, Oct. 25 at Woodward Park.

Sophie Pelletier finished ninth, two runners later, to bring the scoring to 15-12 in Chico's favor as each team awaited their subsequent two runners to come down the stretch. They would come in the next pack. Jasmine Fletcher placed 13th for Chico State, and Kayden Legan finished 17th for Stan State. Marbella Flores completed the scoring for Chico State, finishing on Legan's heels to place 18th.
