The field is set, and the seeds are finalized for the 2023 CCAA Men Basketball Tournament Mar. 2-4 in Turlock.
 
Cal State San Bernardino earned the No. 1 seed after going 20-2 in CCAA play to win its second consecutive regular-season title. The Yotes finished the regular season 11-0 at home and will receive a first-round bye. Cal State San Marcos (18-9, 17-5 CCAA) earned the No. 2 seed and the other first-round bye. The Cougars are the defending CCAA Tournament Champions.
 
San Francisco State will be the No. 3 seed after finishing 12-10 in conference play (16-12 overall). The Gators will face the No. 6 seed Chico State (12-15, 10-12 CCAA) in the first round. The Wildcats are the defending NCAA West Regional Champions, and they edged Cal State East on a tiebreaker for the final spot.
 
The 4/5 game will feature Cal Poly Humboldt (13-15) and Sonoma State (12-16). Both teams tied at 11-11 in the standings and split their two head-to-head matchups. The Lumberjacks captured the higher seed over the Seawolves because of its season sweep of Cal State East Bay.
