2021-22 CCAA Winter Academic Honor Roll >>>
Eighty-eight men's and women's basketball student-athletes earned a place on the CCAA Winter Academic Honor Roll for their work in the classroom during the 2021-22 academic year.
Honor roll awards are presented to student-athletes who are a sophomore in athletic standing with a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.3 and competed in their sport this season.

Of the 88 honorees, 57 were repeat selections. This meant 65 percent earned the honor for the second time in their career, while 20 percent (18 total) collected their third career CCAA Honor Roll selection. The women's list boasts five student-athletes who earned their fourth-career CCAA Honor Roll selection. Kyanna Davis (Stanislaus State), Alyssa Fisher (Cal State LA), Akayla Hackson (Cal State San Marcos), Madison Schiller (Cal State East Bay), Kaleigh Taylor (Stanislaus State), and Faith Turner (Cal State East Bay) have all earned the honor in four consecutive years.
On the men's side, 10 student-athletes earned their third-career honor roll award; Josh Curls (Chico State), Josh Dhatt (Cal State East Bay), Tavian Henderson (Cal Poly Pomona), Thomas Kramer (Cal State Monterey Bay), Colby Orr (Chico State), Sean Orr (San Francisco State), James Schilling (Cal State Monterey Bay), Blake Seits (Cal State San Marcos), Justin Vigil (Cal State East Bay) and Kevin Warren (Chico State).
By school, Cal State San Marcos led the way with 12 selections. The Cougars placed nine women and three men on the honor roll list. The 12 selections also represented a 58 percent increase from last year, giving the Cougars the highest percentage gain among the 12 universities. Sonoma State was the other university to reach double-figures, placing 11 Seawolves on the team.
The CCAA recognizes individuals academically per season – fall, winter, and spring – for all CCAA sponsored sports. The CCAA Winter Academic Honor Roll consists of eligible student-athletes who compete in the sports of men's and women's basketball.
Coming soon, the Spring Academic Honor Roll consists of student-athletes from men's and women's golf, men's and women's track and field, softball, and baseball. A total of
360 student-athletes were already recognized on the Fall Academic Honor Roll, celebrating those eligible competitors in men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball.
