21 CCAA Women's Golfers placed on the WGCA All-American Scholar Team

Jul 13, 2022

When the 2021-22 WGCA All-American Scholar Team was announced last week (July 5), 21 CCAA women's golfers found their name on the list to receive the prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics with the student-athletes needing to maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50. Each of the six CCAA women's golf programs had at least two student-athletes earn the honor.

Sonoma State led the way with six WGCA All-American Scholar Team selections. Cal State East Bay was right behind the Seawolves with five. Chico State placed four on the squad and Cal State LA saw three student-athletes earn the honor. Cal State Monterey Bay and Cal State San Marcos rounded out the list with two selections apiece.
