Ray reached base 15 times, including 13 plate appearances in a row, in the four-game set against Cal State San Marcos. The junior from Lompoc batted .636 with a 1.182 slugging percentage to lead the Wildcats to a 3-1 series win.

In the nightcap, Ray drew walks on four consecutive at bats, tying the Chico State record for the second time this season (March 18). In Sunday’s finale, he went 1-for-4 to extend his hitting streak to eight games.
Defensively, the second baseman recorded eight putouts with 14 assists. He committed an error during Saturday’s game two.
