Garrett Apker, a right-handed pitcher from Cal State San Marcos, has been named the CCAA Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of Feb. 14-20, after a dominant outing.
Apker, a senior from Simi Valley, threw a complete game on Sunday in the Cougar’s 3-2 win over No. 17 Colorado Mines. The much-needed win helped the Cougars avoid a series sweep.
