With a CCAA Speaker Series presentation entitled “
Trans Athletes in the Era of Disinformation” the CCAA welcomes Charlotte Clymer to the virtual dias to discuss the hot-button issue with coaches, administrators and student-athletes across the league. Clymer will present on Wednesday, March 10 at 4 p.m.

A writer, LGBTQ activist, communications consultant and military veteran, Clymer grew up in Texas in a conservative environment. In an era in which people are so easily siloed into their particular corners, she’s a woman of intersections. Clymer will leverage those intersections in her personal journey and her vast experience championing for equal rights to illustrate the facts on transgender athletes.

"We live in an era of disinformation. There's no better an example of this than the way trans people in sports are completely misrepresented by public narratives." - Charlotte Clymer
