Regional rankings
Cal State LA, Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State Dominguez Hills all appeared in the NCAA Men's Soccer Super-Region 4 rankings for the second consecutive week. Cal State LA moved up one spot to No. 3, and Cal Poly Pomona jumped three spots to No. 4. Cal State Dominguez Hills came in at No. 11 as the CCAA matched the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) for the most teams in this week's rankings.
Cal State LA (11-2-2) is unbeaten in conference play (9-0-1) and sits in first place in the CCAA standings with 28 points and one match remaining. The Golden Eagles continue to lead the country in save percentage (.879), and they rank third in goals allowed per match (.443). Cal State LA's 10 shutouts this season are good for second in NCAA Division II.

Cal Poly Pomona (11-2-3, 8-0-2) extended its winning streak to eight straight matches and its unbeaten run to 10, with a pair of victories last week. The Broncos are the top offensive team in the CCAA, averaging 2.56 goals per match, nearly 0.75, better than second place. Their plus-26 goal differential ranks the Broncos 13th in NCAA Division II. Cal Poly Pomona has also faired well against the top teams in the region, going 3-1-0 regionally ranked opponents.
Last week's wins moved the Broncos up to 26 points in the standings and kept alive their hopes for the CCAA regular season title and the No. 1 seed in the CCAA Men's Soccer Tournament. Cal Poly Pomona will play at Cal State LA tomorrow (Nov. 4) starting at 11:30 a.m., with the CCAA regular season title on the line.
After splitting a pair of matches, Cal State Dominguez Hills dropped one spot from last week's poll to No. 11. The Toros put together an eight-match unbeaten streak, which included six straight wins earlier in the season to earn their place in the rankings. Cal State Dominguez Hills is second in the CCAA with 4.43 saves per game and fourth with a .785 save percentage.
Midwestern State (14-1) was voted No. 1 in the Super-Region 4 poll once again. The Mustangs are followed by Colorado School of Mine, Cal State LA, and Cal Poly Pomona.

NCAA Division II will continue with the super regional tournament format that was implemented for the 2019 season. In this format, 10 teams from each of the four Super Regionals are selected for postseason play. Super-Region 4 includes the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC), and the Pacific West Conference (PacWest), along with the Lone Star Conference and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) from the South Central Region. The 40-team field for NCAA Division II men's soccer will be announced on Monday, Nov. 15, at 3:30 p.m. on
NCAA.com.
Before any CCAA team qualifies for the regional, they will participate in the CCAA Men's Soccer Tournament on Nov. 12-14 in Los Angeles. Cal State LA, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Dominguez Hills, and Cal State San Bernardino have all locked up spots in the CCAA Men's Soccer Tournament. The Golden Eagles and Broncos have first-round byes, and they will be the top two seeds. Thursday's contest will determine the No. 1 seed in the tournament. The Toros and Yotes will host opening round contests on their campus site. The No. 3 seed will also be determined on Thursday.
