Cal Poly Pomona claimed the No.7 seed as an at-large selection with a 12-4-3 record on the season. They have not lost a match to anyone other than Cal State LA since early September. The teams will meet on Friday, Nov. 19 at 11 a.m. (PST) in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the home of Midwestern State.
NCAA Division II will continue with the super regional tournament format that was implemented for the 2019 season. Ten teams from each of the four Super Regions across the country have qualified for the NCAA Tournament, and the top six seeds in each of the Super Regions automatically receive a First Round bye. Super-Region 4 includes the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC), and the Pacific West Conference (PacWest), along with the Lone Star Conference and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) from the South Central Region.
The highest remaining seed in the Super Region following the First and Second Round games will serve as the host for the Third and Quarterfinal Rounds, Dec. 2-5. Each of the four Super Region champions advance to the NCAA Final Four in Colorado Springs on Dec. 9-11.
