GENERAL INFORMATION
The 2017 CCAA Men's Golf Championships consists of nine teams -- Cal State Dominguez Hills, Cal State East Bay, Cal State Monterey Bay, Cal State San Bernardino, Cal State San Marcos, Chico State, Sonoma State, Stanislaus State and UC San Diego.

The three-day tournament will be held April 24-26, 2017 on the Zaharias Course (Par 71, 6826 yards) at Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms Resort.


THE FORMAT
This year's format includes three rounds of 18-hole stroke play followed by two rounds of medal/match play. Two 18-hole scoring rounds will be played on Monday, Apr. 24 and a single round of 18-holes will be played on Tuesday, Apr. 25. The top four teams after 54 holes will advance to the Medal/Match quarterfinal round on Tuesday afternoon and the two teams that win their respective Tuesday matches will face each other in the team championship on Wednesday, Apr. 26.

The Individual medalist will be determined following 5-hole stroke play. The Team Champion will be the Conference's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division II Men's Golf West/South Central Regional.

ABOUT THE COURSE
The Zaharias Course (The Babe) is an 18-hole course is named for Babe Didrikson Zaharias, one of America 's most decorated all-around athletes. Designers William F. Bell & Casey O’Callaghan designed the Zaharias course to be intentionally narrow and long, maximizing the expansive acreage of the hilltop resort. At 650 acres, the sheer size of the layout remains a novelty among golf courses near Los Angeles. The par-71 course measures 6826 yards from the black tees.
