Cal State Monterey Bay's Mason Ward has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Aug. 31-Sept. 6th.
 
Ward helped power Cal State Monterey to a perfect 2-0 week, recording three goals and one assist.
 
The fifth year forward from Temecula, Calif., scored the game-winning goal in the 28th minute giving the Otters a 2-0 advantage over Jessup. He also added an assist just one minute into the second half to secure the 3-1 victory. Ward followed with an even bigger performance Sunday at Cal State East Bay, scoring twice in CSUMB's 7-1 road victory. He scored his first goal in the 26th minute to put Monterey Bay ahead 2-0, before completing his brace in the 63rd minute.
