Aliah Avila of Stanislaus State has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 21-27.
 
Avila scored the game-winning goal in Stanislaus State’s 2-1 victory over No. 14 Cal State LA on Friday. The senior forward put the Warriors ahead 2-0 in the 69th minute with what proved to be the deciding goal. She played 75 minutes in the victory.
 
On Sunday, Avila played all 90 minutes in a 1-0 loss to Cal State San Marcos and recorded two shots.
 
The Madera, Calif., native currently ranks sixth in the CCAA with three goals, eighth in assists and first in shots on goal with 15. Click here to see the complete CCAA stats leaders.

Stanislaus State is 4-2-2 overall and 3-1 in CCAA play, tied for second in the conference with nine points. The Warriors will continue conference play this week with matches against Cal State San Bernardino and Cal State East Bay.
