Chico State’s Claire Nordeen has been named the FloCollege/CCAA Volleyball Setter of the Week following a pair of wins last week. (Sept. 29)
 
Nordeen helped the Wildcats go 2-0 on the week, totaling 85 assists, 19 digs, four kills and two service aces over nine sets. The junior setter averaged 9.44 assists per set during the two matches.
 
The Fallbrook, Calif., native opened the week with a strong performance against Cal State Monterey Bay on Thursday night, recording 47 assists, seven digs, two kills and two aces as Chico State rallied for a five-set victory. The Wildcats won the final two sets to complete the comeback.
 
Two days later, Nordeen posted another double-double against Menlo, finishing with 38 assists, 12 digs and two kills as the Wildcats earned a four-set victory.
 
Nordeen currently ranks sixth in the CCAA in assists per set (8.15). Click here to see the complete CCAA leaderboard.
